Smith and Sons has let a perfectly sized unit on Mill Park Drive, Eastham, to a new florist!

Occupying a large ground floor area of some 931 sq.ft, the unit sits on a the towns busiest thoroughfare in an established and busy local neighbourhood.

Tom Carew, Surveyor at Smith and Sons explained: “Spring, coupled with end of lockdown, is helping drive demand for commercial property across the board. It’s great to see smaller high street units snapped up for retail purposes. 

“This lovely new flower shop will add some welcome colour to the main road through Eastham!”

Smith and Sons have been met with an exceptionally busy first quarter with new instructions, sales and lettings across Wirral.

Tom continued: “The past 12 months have remained busy for us across all departments of the business with an intensive uplift in demand for industrial units. As we navigate our way out of lockdown and begin a new ‘normal’, needs are changing, and whilst retail was fairly consistent, there is certainly now more movement.

“People have undoubtedly missed that physical shopping experience and face to face  interaction with people. This period of lockdown may lead to a resurgence of the town high street with shoppers looking to buy locally with a potential shift away from online.”
