SMITHS BACK RISING GB SKELETON STAR

Property consultants, Smith and Sons has thrown its weight behind Brogan Crowley, an exciting, rising star in the GB Skeleton team.

The 23-year-old is a former GB Junior heptathlete who has won one gold, three silver and a brace of bronze medals and was never outside the top four in eight races between November and January, including the Winter Olympics.

Smith and Sons are keen to support the fledgling star who will display the firm’s logo on her helmet and sled.

Brogan commented: “Sponsorship is huge in skeleton as equipment can cost so much and it makes a huge difference to performance. The higher that you work your way up in elite sport, the smaller the margins become and that’s when you see the quality of equipment making the most difference. Therefore, the more equipment that I can buy, the more choice I have with my equipment in different sliding conditions”.
