SHOPPING MADE SIMPLE

Smith and Sons has been instructed to carry out a range of property management services at two shopping precincts in the North West of England.

Well established precincts, Smithy Green in Wigan and Elton Shopping Precinct near Ellesmere Port are owned by an investment company with holdings throughout the UK. The London-based firm was keen to appoint a local property management company to support them with the ongoing running of both concerns.

Jason Wadeson, Partner at Smith and Sons commented: “We are delighted to be working with the client on these shopping precincts.  We understand their needs and we are flexible in terms of what we offer from specific areas of work to a full property management service. Currently we will be responsible for dealing with maintenance at each precinct along with undertaking any Landlord and Tenant matters that arise such as rent reviews”.

“We have acted as letting agents for the precincts previously and will continue to do so as and when shop units become available.  We have recently been instructed to market a unit at Elton.”
