LETTINGS AFTER LOCKDOWN

Smith and Sons has let a record number of Merseyside based residential properties after lockdown.

Since the end of June, the firm has let a large number of properties, several of which were new instructions from existing clients.

Gill Smith, Manager of Smith and Sons residential lettings arm explained: “As with any other business, we were unsure how the market would react after lockdown, however, surprisingly, we have been met with exceptional demand”.

“We have seen enquiries and instructions from both new and existing clients increase with property owners keen to appoint Smith and Sons to manage their homes under various agreements.”

The let properties include a mix of houses and flats across Wirral and Liverpool.

Gill continued: “Despite current conditions, the property market has seen a bounce back and is thriving. COVID has encouraged tenants to consider a move, with many wanting outside space, whilst landlords are exploring additional support in terms of their management needs.”
